Sam Peckinpah's blood-flecked classic was a boxoffice disaster in its Vietnam-era day, but has come to be recognized as one of the all-time greats, a brilliant portrait of the end of an era of tough S.O.Bs made by...well, a tough S.O.B. This pan-and-scan trailer is identical to the ones supplied to theaters in 1969.
i like watching the trailers but would it be possible to replay them without the commentary? Just a suggestion.. .
I think the Eloi stuff in this adaptation is a little too silly and idyllic, but mostly this is a worthy H. ...
