Richard Attenborough plays John Christie, a ghoul who used his wall space and floorboards to hide his grisly deeds. Directed by Richard Fleischer, the film co-stars John Hurt as the poor chap who took the rap for Christie before justice prevailed. Judy Geeson plays Hurt’s wife.
