Blood and Roses
Even with a trailer tracked with library music from Teenagers from Outer Space, Roger Vadim’s gorgeous and sexy pre-Bava Euro-horror is one of the coolest, most unjustly neglected vampire pix of all time, mostly because it’s been unseeable for years. He got his start cutting trailers for Roger Corman and later directed the hit movie Gremlins, as well as Gremlins 2: The New Batch, Innerspace and Small Soldiers for producer Steven Spielberg.
