The hyper-kinetic dream world manufactured by director Tetsuya Nakashima is only hinted at in this comparatively sedate trailer for Kamikaze Girls. The 2004 film, about the unlikely friendship between two women, a young fashion maniac and a punkish biker, is as substantial as cotton-candy but provides a enjoyable sugar rush all its own.
