Stills We Love: [some hippo]

Look at this hippopotamus. Just look at it!

If you’ve been following along on our journey through the stills collection of Mr. Joe Dante, you’ll know that in the very first Stills We Love post, we dredged up some wily absurdity. And you guys rightly identified it pretty quickly!

So this time, we’re back at it with more unknown strangeness. Just look at this:

Here’s another one I can’t identify, seems to be a comedy(?). It’s a retouched composite shot which manages to look just like it’s in front of a process screen. Dunno who these guys are, one looks like the hero and the other the comic relief. Anybody have any ideas?
