Brian Trenchard-Smith provides your must-read of the day!
My apologies to Mr. Trenchard-Smith. He sent this to us over the July 4th holiday weekend and, in the busyness of that and in the wild odyssey that was our new DVD launch and the lead-up to our Cinefamily event, it kinda slipped away.
But it shouldn’t have, because this is a great little read coming at you direct from the mind of The Wizard of Ozploitation himself. This might not be what you’d expect the orchestrator of the mayhem you’ve seen in his films, unless you’ve ever seen one of his commentaries on the site. Mr. Trenchard-Smith is, is anything, loquacious and knowledgable about film history. He also has a sharp satirical eye, which he directs at many things in the short scene below.
